First Attack Hypertensive Crisis in Children with Primary Hypertension: a Case Report

Hypertensive crisis in children is relatively a rare condition and the prevalence currently unknown (1). The most common etiology of hypertensive secondary hypertension, while primary hypertension less (2)(5)(7). We performed case report 13 years old boy with caused by hypertension. He came to emergency unit our hospital due epistaxis, nausea, vomiting abdominal pain. On physical examination we found that blood pressure was 180/110, his body weight 60kg, height 154cm, BMI 25,2 (categorized as overweight). history family positive. further examination, results laboratory finding, urinalysis thorax x-ray within normal limit. In unit, patient treated nifedipine 5mg sublingual, furosemide injection 30mg. Patient hospitalized at observational discharged fifth day improvement 120/80.
